What we process, and why
We keep data collection to the minimum a website of this kind needs.
Server logs (hosting)
This site is delivered by Cloudflare, our hosting and content-delivery provider. When you visit, Cloudflare processes technical connection data — such as your IP address, the requested URL, browser and operating-system information, and a timestamp — in server logs. This is needed to deliver the site reliably and to detect and block attacks. We do not use this data to identify visitors.
Usage analytics (PostHog)
We use PostHog to measure, anonymously, how the site is used — for example which pages are opened and which elements are clicked. PostHog runs on its EU Cloud, is configured without cookies (data held in memory only, discarded when you leave), and does not record your session. Nothing is stored on your device, and we do not build visitor profiles.
Email contact
If you write to hello@edelki.ch, we process your email address and the content of your message to handle your request. This data is not shared with anyone and is kept only as long as our correspondence requires.
Where data is processed
Analytics data is processed in the European Union, whose data-protection level the Swiss Federal Council recognizes as adequate. Cloudflare acts as our processor for hosting and content delivery; as a global network, it may process the technical connection data described above at the location closest to you.
Your rights
Under the FADP you can request information about the personal data we hold about you, have inaccurate data corrected, request its deletion or hand-over, and object to its processing. You can also complain to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
To exercise these rights, write to: hello@edelki.ch
Cookies
This site sets no cookies that require consent — no advertising, no tracking. The only cookie is edelki-lang, a functional preference cookie that stores nothing but your chosen language, for one year, so the site can open in it next time.
